Hessian (also known as Jute or Burlap) is a natural Fibre traditionally farmed in the Bengal Area (India & Bangladesh)
It grows fully in 4 to 6 months and is fully sustainable.
There is crop rotation, no pesticides and nothing is genetically modified!
The factor we use in independently audited each year to ensure the highest ethical standards are met for the workers, ensuring they are paid a fair wage and work in the best conditions possible!!
