Hessian / Jute / Burlap sandbags are strong and durable but while they can be reused many times they are also environmentally friendly and biodegradable.
Made from standard duty breathable hessian, these bags are ideal for short term flood defense,
sand bagging and defensive walls. Also suitable for uses such as weights etc.
and often used in conjunction with a weak or dry cement mix to stabilize water ways, banks etc.
Each bag can hold approx. 25 kg of sand or soil.
Recommendation of 20kg per bag if the bags need to be packed tight together.
Bag size is 13″ x 30″ (33cm x 76cm) with a tie string at the mouth.
