We ship most of our packages using Fastway Courier service.
This is a two day (Mon–Fri) delivery service to any part of Ireland on all orders placed by 11am*.
IF YOU GET YOUR PACKAGE NEXT DAY – BRILLIANT!
IF NOT THEN PLEASE WAIT 24 HOURS – EVEN IF YOU GET AN EMAIL SAYING DELIVERED – IT WILL PROBABLY BE DELIVERED THE SECOND DAY.
Fastway have been achieving over 97% of our packages delivered next day and over 99% within two days. You will receive emails with updates regarding your delivery from Fastway, this will also have the contact details for Fastway if you haven’t received your package within two days.
For large bales and pallets we use The Pallet Network (www.tpn.ie).
Our collections are made daily at approx. 11am.
Products can also be collected directly from our premises by prior appointment!
There is a collection box outside our gate that allows collections at any time, on any day, but your order needs to be placed before 2pm for it to be prepared and left out. Our office is in a different place to our warehouse and the warehouse staff are gone at 3pm daily.
Call us on 061 373 402 to arrange!
Why do we ship with Fastway Couriers?
Most of our packages can’t fit in cardboard boxes, so they cant travel on the automated conveyor system other courier providers have.
We could use other courier providers under their “Abnormal package” conditions but the cost is 4 times higher than what you are currently paying us. FASTWAY do get 99% of all our packages delivered within two days and this is great value, unfortunately sometimes the 1% package can get complicated – the same as with any courier.
Our recommended action to track your package is the following:
- You will receive an automated email with your tracking number and updates
- If you don’t receive your package in two days be patient, 99% of packages are still getting delivered by the second day.
- If by the third day you haven’t received it, then you can make contact with Fastway for an update. They only deal with contact by email.
- Send a POLITE email to Fastway quoting your parcel number in the subject line, asking them if they can please update you.
- If after 4 days a package hasn’t been delivered we are then allowed escalate the issue to Fastway Area management as “High importance”. Send us an email to sales@sacks.ie and let us know your package hasn’t arrived after 4 days and we are then allowed to push it on your behalf. We are not allowed before 4 days are up so please don’t ask.
* We have worked with Fastway for years and while it is impossible to guarantee next day delivery for this price they have proven over 99% success rate which we are delighted with.
